Rork Law Office
William K. Rork has been a practicing attorney since 1980. His
specialties are criminal defense and appellate advocacy.
He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Washburn University in
Topeka, Kansas in 1979. Prior to that, he served as an assistant
attorney general and legal assistant in the Kansas Attorney General's
Office for 5 years.
Rork is admitted to practice before the Kansas Supreme Court, US
District Court of Kansas, Federal District Court for the Western
District of Missouri, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and United
States Supreme Court.
William K. Rork is a life member of the National Association of
Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), founding member of the Kansas
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (KACDL), founding member
of the Third Judicial District Criminal Defense Bar, member of the
National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML -
Legal Committee), as well as a life member of the National Rifle
Association (NRA), life member of the Washburn Law School Association
and life member of the Washburn University Alumni Association.
In January 2002, Rork was commissioned as eligible to defend accused
persons before the International
Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
